My Sammy Girl

Hi! I'm Ahna, and I want to tell you all about one the sweetest girls I've had the pleasure of knowing, Sammy! Sammy and I have been friends since 1st grade. For the entirety of our friendship, she has always been one of the kindest, radiant, vibrant, optimistic, hilarious, intelligent, people I have ever known. She always ensures that everyone feels included and loved. She has showed me time and time again what the true meaning of a friend is. She inspires me every day to be a better person, and adds a light to the world wherever she goes. At the young age of two, Sammy was diagnosed with LGMD2I. She has been resiliently enduring her diagnosis ever since. Sammy has never let that discourage her from being the outstandingly amazing human she is. I truly wish, at least once in their life time, everyone could experience the beauty that is Samantha Jordan Brazzo. All the funds that this non-profit generates will be donated to CureLGMD2I foundation; an organization that aids funding for research, provides advocacy, and supports scientific & drug development to find a cure for limb girdle muscular dystrophy.
